In April 2008, Kevin graduated from Brigham Young University with a BFA in Acting! I was so proud of him. A lot of family members came out to show their support. In the morning, Kevin's department put on a performance for the family members of their "NY Showcase." This was a specially-prepared show designed to showcase the talents of the graduating members, later to be taken to NY to be performed for casting agencies/directors.
In the afternoon we all attended the actual graduation ceremony. We were all glad to see Kevin get his diploma. For dinner, we went to the Chef's Table for dinner. I don't think anyone can forget when John K'wow Kwarm asked the waiter if he was served last because he was black. It was pretty fun, except maybe to the poor waiter. I think he was alright once he realized it was a joke.
